We facilitated the development of the company’s Integrated Risk Management (IRM) framework, standards and guidelines

We conducted a risk review for the Nuclear One Project

We worked for Impala on the development and support of their ERM framework on many occasions, involving practical advice and the provision of tools and methods

We conducted a root cause analysis of a fatal accident and developed a new approach to major accident investigation

Kumba Iron Ore (Anglo American)

We conducted a structured and objective evaluation of their current approaches to the management of risks within large development projects and the portfolio of major investments

We made practical recommendations on changes that should be made to their current approaches to provide a sounder and more effective basis for decisions, leading into a detailed implementation plan

Sasol

We conducted a review of the current approach to managing risk and the proposed strategy and structure for the risk management function in the company

Spoornet (Transnet Freight Rail)

We provided risk assessment advice on dangerous goods transportation and development of safe routing

We assisted in the development of enterprise risk management for Transnet, including Spoornet

We undertook quantitative risk assessments of project capital costs for mine development and expansion projects in South Africa
