Procuring cloud based services
Broadleaf will be helping to lead a discussion about the procurement of cloud based services for important public sector requirements
Procuring Cloud services, as compared to traditional in-house IT systems, places more reliance on the capability, capacity, and motivation of suppliers. Procurement and contracting, including the planning work that goes before these activities, becomes even more important than it has been in the past.
The risks are different from past forms of service procurement. The balance between contract value and potential liability is completely different. Over sensitivity to risk or underestimation of risk can be equally dangerous.
